Tim Schmidt
Burnaby, British ColumbiaStarting in Sydney, Nova Scotia, work took me across Canada through Edmonton and has landed now to here in Burnaby, British Columbia. The range of skills I've undertaken ranged from Oilsands work to Technical Service to being your friendly neighbourhood Cable Guy and more. Over the last seven years my work has culminated to foster amazing relationships with other teams of construction builders, technical experts, project coordinators, and just really smart people with Ledcor and companies I have interacted with.
The other side of the story involves changes in scenery, both geographical and due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19. I am and continue to be a very social person, though perhaps with less exposure to large groups than I had more than three years ago. To fill my time, I immersed myself in a multitude of activities. These pursuits allow me to satisfy my problem-solving nature, including gardening, ice hockey, SEGA Genesis development, 3D modeling, ukulele practice, painting, site camping, hiking beautiful BC trails, and most recently, 3D printing. It would be very apt to say that my weekly habits are rich in both single and multiplayer experiences, as I enjoy both challenging myself and enjoy taking downtime to recoup.
There is a lot more to me than just the places I've worked and the things I do. The next step is in your hands — to reach out and invite me to bring these experiences to your team!
